I see on Thermalright's website that the v-1 is NOT compatible however many review sites have used the v-1 with the 800 XT without a problem!!!

I want to get my order in before monday so need to make the final decision soon!!

Are you by any chance related to JediYoda? lol j/k Up to you really...I think they are both very nice coolers....the VF700 is more compat though w/ all cards as far as I know. Depending on the fan you use w/ the V-1, they are about equal in performance.

you should get the arctic cooler ones, i like the fact that they exhaust air......anyways, there was a little review that said the V1 cooled better than the VF700-CU, also if your getting the VF700, there's not much different (1-2C) between the copper one and the alu one excluding prices and weight

great comments, short and to the point. Thanks

The arctic cooler 4 is listed compatible for the x800 XT however not version 5. On AC website they list version 5 for the x800 XT as well!

Great now i have to compare 3 units :)

get the artic cooler one if your case temps is a little high because with the artic cooler one, it would exhaust the hot air outside of the case instead into your case. It would lower down component of your case by a few degrees.
