I believe that the world will end on February 14th, 1992.

It is kinda strange because that's the same date (12/12/2012) some dude predicted all people will die (not that the earth will be destroyed). He said the earth's magnetism, which protects us from sun magnetic rays, will reverse, but before it does there will be a long period when there will be no magnetism at all. I learned in my geology class that in fact the earth's magnetism is reversing, but we are not able to predict much about it, mainly because we don't know much about it. My professor did say that the suns ray will kill anything and everything when it happens.
