I have four credit cards. All with fairly low limits (highest is $1000). My total debts from these are $2050. Obviously not much but they all have fairly high APRs (20%).
I received an email from MBNA about consolidating debt. I don't NEED to do it, but it would be nice to have one balance and one payment, plus I may be able to get a lower APR from MBNA. I have a good credit score now (between 670 and 720 between the three agencies) and would like to get my damn APR lowered.
I don't know if it's even worth to bother with though. Does consolidating debt appear unfavorable to future lenders?
Thanks!
