Has anyone dealt with a collection agency called

Allied Interstate Inc
2255 Renaissance Dr # A, Las Vegas, NV 89119
7025979881 and 7753191506

these morons have been calling me for 3 weeks straight asking for a pamela johnson, someone who i dont know. about 6 mos ago i got a new phone # due it being 1 digit off from a local taxi company.

people were calling me all day asking for a cab, i got so fed up with it, i kept telling people this is not a cab company over and over, then i told them the company went out of business, till i finally changed my phone #.

now these collection morons wont stop calling me, and when i call them to tell them they have the wrong #, i get hung up on, even asked for the supervisor, he hung up on me too.

aside from contacting the attorney generals office in NV or change my phone # again, is there anything i can do to stop them from harrassing me.

tnx all.

Get yourself a whistle...when they call again...give it to them!

After a few of them get their ear blown out, I doubt they will call anymore...

It happened to me. I just ended up telling them that the lady they were looking for has just been raped and killed a couple of months ago. They eventually stopped calling.

Possibly as hard as reading the OP?

Mount their heads on spikes in front of your house as a warning to others.

If you are real bored just pretend you are Pamela Johnson and continue to talk to them for a while. Ask if you can work out some arrangement where you could have your debts cancelled for certain services.

BWHAHAHAHA thats a good one. but you gotta work on the setup too! start talking really softly till you are nearly inaudible. at first they wont understand you but then theyll adjust and when they start to understand you blast them with the whistle! ROFL!

speak in high pitch voice and pretend you're pamela johnson and say you're willing to offer "special services" since you dont have the money
record the conversation

if they say yes, send it to local news station

end of company, end of phone calls

Tell them you are a homicide detective investigating her murder and you need to question the calling person and the company about her murder.

Pretend to be a kidnapper holding a rich/famous persons kids hostage, then when they say things act like you think they are trying to fvck with you, then fire your gun or stab something and have your friend scream in pain and tell them that if they dont have the money ready in 1 hour youll mail thier daughter/son back to them in small plastic bags. then hang up.

Call your phone company and explain the situation to them. They should be able to take care of the problem.

switch roles on them and ask them intrusive personal questions while assuming things about thier sexuality, friends, family, and loved ones.

Change you phone number. Probably the easiest route IMO. I actually did this years ago because of telemarketing calls (I also registered my new number with the do not call list) and I'd be surprised if I get 2 telemarketing calls a month at home.

Debt collection calls are not the same as telemarketing calls.

I don't know how long the OP has had his/her phone number but I've had mine for over 10 years now. In the last 6 months I've been getting at least two debt collections calls a day and they're not mine. They're for another lady that lives in the same town as me but they don't believe me when I tell them it's not me.
