I recently recieved as rebate on a Corsair PSU, a Visa debit card worth $10.00. What is the best way to really get my ten bucks worth out of this card without being backdoored into some kind of VISA account i don't want?

there are no account or anything, just use it on anything you want. If you go over just pay the remainder in cash or another card.

Yup, use it for anything you want. You can always just buy a Amazon.com giftcard, I've done that on random Visa prepaid cards between 70 cents and 2 dollars no problem. Nice way to get rid of them

OK thanks - next time I go to the grocery store I'll buy myself a treat. But I'd better hurry because each time I go the prices are just a little higher :-(

I just recently got an Amex prepaid debit card from a rebate. Normally, I get these cards from Citi (I think), and they let me cash them out as checks, but Amex refused to do that for me.... Now I know what I'm going to do!
