A95. I made the mistake of recommending the S1 IS to my parents, and SLOW auto-focus and medicore image quality drove them nuts.

I have had actually both for a vacation each. I prefer the A95 by a edge for overall quality, but got really spoiled by the S1's great usable zoom range and cooler looks
