still I'd like to see the sky in color... the north east has too much light pollution... ill never get to see the sky in so much detail.
 
ooo the milky way
have been wanting to personally see the cloudy arm of the milky way, but alas living near towns makes this a hard thing to do. I never get to see a lot of stars, just the ones bright enough to puncture into the skyline of a city.

The wonderful things you'll see with a pair of night vision goggles. Even though greenish, but if you have the chance, take one away from the city and enjoy all the night sky has to offer.
 
Personally, I found the sliding rocks of Racetrack Playa more interesting than the sky.

Interesting photo all the same.
