We use the Rat Zapper 2000 in our office for mice killing. But after a couple of weeks, it has become obsolete because the mice (brown) are too smart to fall for it again. No cheese, peanut butter, chocolate fudge cake can attract the mice's attention.

^^ That is not a good idea, based on the activites of last night and this morning.

Just a thought, but you could try Anti-Freeze. It smells and tastes sweet, but is poisonous. That is why you always read about how important it is not to spill it.... cause animals drink it and die. I think the same would work for mice... might not be the best solution for inside, but you never know.
