Regardless of if you support the death penalty or not, while it is still being used then why not kill them in such a way so that they may donate their organs to help save a life. Kind of help make amends for what they did to get them the death penalty.

Please don't post your opinion on the Death Penalty itself.

Havent you ever seen that horror movie where they take some dead maniac's body parts and use his body parts to fix someone else's body parts, then those body parts ended up corrupting that guy becuase the body parts were evil?

I think the name of the movie was "The Deadly Hands of Murder X", but I could be wrong.

😉

move to china. they'll farm your organs after execution even without your consent. i think we had a thread about that...

I am not a supporter of the death penalty in the first place, but I suppose I would like to see their organs used to help others.

The did this on the Simpsons, when Homer got a hair transpant from Snake. One of their best episodes.😀

I think it was called "body parts" and it was about a guy who got his arms transplanted from a murderer after he lost them in a car wreck.

Sounds like a good idea to me. But if they die by letah injection that might affect the organs in some way.... But probably not as much as if they die by firing squad...

Most death row inmates and criminals getting the death sentence aren't the most healthy and clean people out there. I'm sure most of them do some kind of drug, smokes, or engages in dangerous health risks. So who would really want their organs?

I believe it should be required for ALL people who die to donate any usable organs.
They are dead, they do not need them any more.
They just might save other people's lives.

I'm sure many of them do have some "good" organs as well. If they were an alcoholic and have a bad liver, that doesn't mean their kidneys are no good.

No, not all people should be required to donate organs. Some religions believe that if you lose it in life, you lose it in death. Who are you to determine if they're wrong or not?

Well, once they die it's just going to rot and eventually it's just going to become dirt.
I don't care what people's faith in god tells them, but IMO, doing the right thing for humanity superseeds all other causes and beliefs.

people have done this!

there is a body at some university that was a guy on death row that was a perfect specimen...they sliced his body into half centimeter thick slices and then imaged them and made it into a computer program that is now used by lots of doctors...fairly new
