Death and Obscurity

Actually this has little to do with with death but it made a really cool title I think.

I was wondering if anyone can explain why recently my roomates PC dropped 10 degrees C.

It was running at 58-60 C all the time.. Today I opened the case.. Literally took a breath of air and blew away some dust. Also I took out an LED and put it back on (I was comparing it to another one). Now it runs at 50C... The air temperature is exactly the same as before (too damn hot).

What happened?

Well you probably blew some dust out that was clogging some fans 🙂

Its a good thing, don't start wondering what happened! 🙂

You already said it man. "Blew out dust". By blowin out my pc and focusing on the cpu fan, I dropped my temp by...13 or so degrees...

Used to be able to oc my 800 to 1 gig...but ran at 800...About a year later when I tried to go to 900 it didnt even load the OS because it heated up to quickly. Blew it out, 😉...Heat is an amazing insulator.

Moral of the story...Keep them cases clean!
