Well I'm glad a apology didn't impress you since impressing you has NOTHING to do with this post.

I'm not depressed that Bush won... because he did win this time. I'm happy the system produced a clear winner and that he garnered more of the popular vote than Kerry. It means that the Right has sway to do as they can manage to do. I don't support much of what he has done or what he is likely to do but, that is my and the other non Right voter's problem. Time goes on and in four years we'll be about trying to remedy what then will have occurred.
I'm not a bit depressed for me... but sad for the millions who will be adversely affected by Bush's politics and especially in foreign affairs.
Folks on the Right seem to think that they have the only true and proper answer for America. They feel strongly in what they hold dear. As do I. When the time comes - and it will - for all of America to validate the choices they made this election I doubt the folks on the Right can honestly do it. And that is the problem. Some folks will not look past the single issue (in most cases) that allowed them to put Bush in the White House for four more years. My wife voted for him because he talks to God... no other reason that I can discern... and anything he does is fine by her.. cuz he follows the word of God. As I see it she thinks God is really in the White House disguised as Bush... That is sad!

The only people I'm sad for is the Iraqis who are getting slaughtered daily, both by us, and from our lack of law enforcement by the killers.. But I'm not even sure Kerry would have changed that. In fact he may have gone ballistik just to prove to republican congress and electorate he was no wimp.

Anyway Bush or Kerry makes no diff in my life.

Ah, the old 'you must be ignorant on the issues if you voted for Bush' BS. I thought Bush and his supporters were the arrogant ones. Unlike yourself, I can see valid reasons to vote for both candidates. I saw a lot more with Bush. If you want to discuss the issues, then feel free. First though, put your holier-than-thou brush away.

can i convince you to kill yourself out of sympathy?

As I see it she thinks God is really in the White House disguised as Bush... That is sad!
on a serious note:
i agree with you, that is sad...
because you honestly think your own wife is so stupid that she believes what you think she does.

The only people I'm sad for is the Iraqis who are getting slaughtered daily,
I feel sad for all the Iraqis that died because bush Sr. didn't stop that murderous tyrant earlier.

I reflect poorly on Christianity and Christ daily.
I try not to, but it's just one of those things that's bound to happen... I?m human after all.
