You have a point. Seems meaningful change only happens after violence. The LAPD abused black people for years. That only changed after the Rodney King riots.Unfortunately for all of us historically violence is has been the only answer that ever works. No one cares about peaceful protests that follows all the rules. Protests only work when they cause disruption. People only pay attention to protests when they disrupt society enough to force them to pay attention. You, and many others, think protests shouldn't be inconvenient. Well, that is not going to work.
The truth is that change requires a lot of work, and no one is going to do the work until it is more of a pain not to.
