Dear Valve, Please DELAY Half Life 2

Dear Valve,

We are not going to have the funds to upgrade my puny Rig before the Sept 30th deadline so we hereby request Valve to please delay this title until the Holiday season so that we may have a chance to play this game in all of the glorious detail that you painstakingly created.

Min specs are allegedly 700Mhz PIII with a GeForce2. But ummm by minium specs, they mean 640x480, low detail. It would run just as craptastic as Doom IIIs min spec of 1Ghz 256MB and GeForce 1.

Id say a 2.4Ghz, 512MB and a third generation GeForce/Radeon to play a decent level. 3.6Ghz, 1GB RAM, and a5th Gen GeForce/Radeon to run close to max detail.

Turn off all textures, just play using the wireframes.

I am running a 9700 Pro at 800x600 so it should be okay.

You'll probably be able to play it in 800x600 or 1024x768 with some things turned down even more.

I HAVE one of those! It oc's pretty well though. May have to mod it with a bigger hsf to get it high enough to run this game.

Yeah if you want it to look asstastic and at 640x480. To play HL2 like it was meant to be played, you needs atleast a 2Ghz and a third gen geforce/radeon IMHO.
