I feel your pain.

Bad enough I had my relatively new black car (5 months, 2012 Mustang) scratched up by branches in the northeast snow storm. If someone keyed my car, I would have been pissed.

I'm pretty sure I would turn a couple of different shades of red if I walked out and saw my equally black car keyed like that.

Oh wait, I have. I don't get it. Why would ANYONE do that to a car? It makes even less sense to key an econobox...
I say this partially in jest. But, given the posts histories of many here, it is their driving habits that are responsible. Would not surprise me in the least if someone followed them to the location, and keyed their vehicle out of rage over their driving behavior.

OP, or anyone reading this, may, or may not fit the M.O., but some of you definitely would be fortunate if that is all they did in retaliation. There are members here that suffer from psychosis, if their posts are truthful.

I'm pretty sure that person should be hunted down and killed immediately. No need to have worthless people like that roaming around.

And yes, there is ALWAYS a reason people do stupid shit like this. Unfortunately they are normally stupid reasons like, jealously. There was a story of a guy getting his H2 Hummer keyed because of some tree hugger didn't approve of his gas guzzling vehicle. Fortunately he had a camera mounted on his truck and got a PERFECT video of him keying his car. He later turned over the video to the authorities where they quickly apprehended him. However it would have been better if he kept it to himself and went on a little man hunt.
