What I'm thankful for...

A beautiful spring day.

A fine Merlot.

A long bike ride out on the countryside.

And a hooker that won't steal my other kidney after I pass out.

Thankful that I still have a roof over my head, food to eat, and internet.

I was offered a new position with the company for whom I work this week.

 <---- To yet another poster I sometimes violently disagree with here but whom I suspect is a decent, stand-up guy IRL.

Either will Rmoney!

"Rmoney", giggle, giggle, guffaw! :p

Lol, Uber, you forgot to add, "When all else fails, being able to sex myself!"

if i were you, id be more thankful that i didnt die in a so-called horrible motorcycle accident

Nerd fight alert!

I envision two very red faces contorted into pouty grimaces atop two jiggling bellies, a ton of disturbingly high pitched shrieks, and a series of roundhouse air slaps from both contestants that miss by a country mile, as portrayed in the made for TV movie by a couple of teletubbies!

I am thankful for everybody on these forums. Without these people these forums would be empty!!

Lol, Jedi, nailed it.

I'm thankful that I stay away from P&N

Oxymoronic post fail!

What am I thankful for? Many real life things, most of all my wide circle of real life friends. The older I get (and dang, I'm ancient!), the more it's brought home to me that the good people in your life are your truest wealth.

I'm also thanful for the tarnished miracle that is P&N. I've often regretted this forum, because of the way it has unnecessarily divided posters into at least two camps. All too often I would have preferred not to know another poster's stupid politics. Politics sucks. At least, unbendig partisan ideology can really suck and divide.

I HATE having to mod this forum. Make no mistake, all of us mods do. It's all of the juvenile bad acting of OT times infinity, without the occasional humor. ;)

But . . . at the best of times I remain PROUD that we at AT host one of the very, very few political forums that is not just a one message echo chamber like DU or the Freepers. How sad those places are.

What thinking and caring person wants to only hear his or her own narrow ideology parroted back to them? What genuinely thinking person doesn't welcome the challenge of being exposed to opposing arguments?

Here's to P&N, then! We're so far from perfect it hurts like an ingrown toenail, but like this grand but wildly imperfect Republic in which we are all deliriously lucky to live, we persevere, and hopefully, we will prevail!

I am thankful for the following posters. Incorruptible, Anarchist420, nahelem, Juror No 8, a777pilot, spidey, Nemesis, cybrsage. The sheer insanity, stupidity, and inhumanity of these posters has driven down the quality of threads in P&N so much that I have begun to pull away from P&N, which is something I've been needing to do for a while.

I am not insane, stupid or inhuman and my posts are good quality, they are all real issues that will affect us. But I appreciate that you are thankful for me

I am thankful for my family and friends as well as my freedom or whats left of it. I am also thankful for the Constitution, Ron Paul and all the freedom fighters out there like Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer and Geert Wilders.

Finally I am thankful for P&N since its one of the few places where we can talk politics and with very little restrictions on it.

I am thankful that my grandpa made it out of WWI alive to plant the seeds that gave birth to my Dad. I am thankful my dad made it out of WWII and Korea to do the same for me. I am thankful for making it out of Vietnam and Desert Storm so I could do the same for my two kids, and I'm thankful that my family is well and looking forward to bright futures even though they were born into a political system that is rigged against them, being from the middle class.

Lots and lots to be thankful for when I think about it.

I'm thankful that it looks like the Supreme Court will likely remain middle of the road to slightly right. (of course that's imo) Instead of probably swinging more to the right.

And that despite an incident on the border that the Israeli Palestinian ceasefire seems to be holding.
