It's great that you've been true to your cause, which is being faithful to the all-motor crowd. But don't you think it's time to step it up a little bit? Give us what we want, turbos. As a loyal and devoted Honda Fan boi, I think myself and many other fan bois would like to see our Hondas come with shinny intercoolers in the front of our rides. The kinds that would strike fear in the hearts of those that dare call us ricers.

Please, that is all I want for Christmas (well, maybe turbos + 4 wheel drive).

Sincerely;

Fan boi.

They already make these, the company is called Subaru.😉

Or at least give us high-performance sedans with manual trannys that aren't over 30k. The TSX doesn't count as its a fat-ass of a car.

To all domestic and foreign car companies: All I ask for is a vehicle that can run on fuel cells, not requiring any gasoline.

Unfotunately it's not a cheap way to go 🙁 As much as I wish there were more turbo'd cars out there, I can really understand why companies shy away from them given their track record. However I think that the technology has come far enough that another wave of turbo cars would yield much higher reliability across the board... we'll see if other companies learn from popular turbo cars like the WRX...hopefully their motors stand the test of time, which I'm sure they will.

GM already did that. I think Honda had some prototypes?

Carburation > FI

Forced Induction.
Besides, have you tried tuning a carbed vehicle lately?? Man, my bike carbs have about 50 hours of tuning into them and they still suck monkey pouch. There's no question that ANY vehicle I buy from here on out is going to be injected. It's just sooo much easier to deal with. Carbs are the unreliable, slightly more fuel efficient past; injection is now. 🙂

On topic, Honda sucks and will never make a car like that. They're for old ladies, families who want a reliable car, and the ever growing wannabe tuner crowd.

Say what?

Fuel injection is superior to a carburetor in almost every way. A carburetor should technically last longer, but that's about it....

Mostly because to truely tune your engine, you need a carb per cylinder. Any other way, and it's a tradeoff.

Yeah, I like long sensual and meaningfull "love making", but every now and then, I'll want that "fast and furious", 😉.

And even then, you either have to be a magician, Steven Hawking of the automotive world, or just plain lucky to pull off a real nice power curve. There's too many things they can't do to make them worth feeding high-po engines with anymore.
Plus, I think hooking your computer up to your car/bike is just damn cool. 🙂

i like the rev happiness of hondas. even my cr-v is ridiculously rev happy. turbos would kill the soul of hondas...anyway, you can always get an aftermarket one.

as to the comment about hi performance sedan under 30k...the closest thing honda makes would probably be the Accord V6 Coupe 6mt, but thats FF w/ no LSD i think so that doesn't really count.

if only the s2k were 3k less 🙂

or a used NSX, you can pick one up for under 30k. but unfortunately 4.7s to 60 is considered "slow."

truly, honda is a little slow in the "bit of performance in every car they make" trend, unlike mazda/nissan

hope they fix this soon. and i hope they frekin release the next nsx already. its been 12 years!!!!
