Dear Fellow ATOTers, I need your assistance :)

I was told that I should come with questions to ask, but for some reason the only one I can think of is associated with their internet speed 😱

Please give me some ideas of questions or a hint to some questions that I should ask, thanks!

 Free beer will be given out to all those who participate compliments of Zim Hosein.

Edit: Major is Computer Engineering

Can you tell us your major? Perhaps we can lead some questions off of there.

btw, ltns Arce.

just ask what they offer, how much $$$ you can get from them, and things like that.

If you get a chance to talk to a student, a good question is to ask "what is the one thing you wish you knew going into the school that you know now" so you can get a better idea of whats up

Computer Engineering, and I haven't been on neochat in a while mainly do to the fact that I can only connect to undernet 25% of the time.

if its a college you really want to go to, make sure you make that clear, they may be willing to give you more money or accept you easier if you really wanna go there. Just ask a lot of questions, and seem interested and it will be fine. They only told you to think of questions if you wanted to, its not required.

ask them stuff which is not directly related to just the schoolwork. if you have an extracirricular activity that you are very involved in, ask them if there is something similar on campus. Also, maybe about intermural sports, and maybe possibly whats available on weekends at the school + city wherever it is. If its a highly competitive school, everyone is going to have very similar grades, its what else you bring to the school which will set you apart.

What school btw? Most schools I know of dont require interviews for undergrads, and actually most of them wont offer them even if you ask. The only school I went to an interview for was CMU. I early decisioned there but didnt get in....I think partly because I was very unprepared for the interview. I'm at Cornell now, which I think is a better fit for me than CMU would of been anyways. Be sure to bring in a copy of your transcripts, copy, copy of your SAT scores, and any other paperwork they may need. You've probably sent them in, but it'll be easier if you can hand them copies in case they dont have your file handy
