Video of why

For those that missed it, Dre Bly intercepted a pass, began high-stepping and show-boating 80 yards from the endzone in a game where his team was down 35-10 at the time, and was then promptly stripped of the ball which allowed the Falcons to recover.

Moron.

hehe, I didnt see the showboating at first. Much like Bly not seeing the Falcon tailing him.

The whole 49ers team were getting chewed out by Singletary the entire game. Along with the referees. He was chewing out everybody. I think even the hot dog vendor got chewed out by Singletary.

In the 1st quarter, the 49ers were sucking hard on D and Singletary called a timeout, gathered the entire team together, and chewed them out. On the next play, Matt Ryan hit a wide open Roddy White for a touchdown. At the end of the half and before the 2 minute warning, the 49ers didn't have any timeouts left to call for an instant replay review of a questionable 49er fumble call.

right hand to his ear, a little high-stepping, and holding the ball out with one hand.

He failed as a Detroit Lion. Think of how bad you have to be to fail as a Lion

Bly has a pretty short leash no matter where he goes due to his personality it would seem (which is so uncommon in the NFL right?), the guy makes plays but what he did today dose not make any sense.

The whole team was off as Bly has been one of the better players out there in his time.

"Dre' Bly intercepted a pass by Ryan at the San Francisco 10 midway through the third quarter but was caught from behind when it appeared Bly began celebrating during his return. Ryan swiped at the loose ball on the ground before center Todd McClure fell on it for the Falcons.

"Dre's going to be Dre'," Bly said. "When I make plays, and I've made a lot, I express myself.""

ESPN Link

"Dre being Dre" cost the Niners a touchdown, and he got caught and had the ball stripped away from him by A QUARTERBACK.

I hope Singletary cuts him during the bye week to make a statement. These kind of egotistical idiots have no place on a team, especially when they're not that good!

Sorry, but you really didn't watch the video or see the game, did you? Just FYI, Roddy White, #84, the sorta fast receiver on the Falcons team....the one who got intercepted on......was the one who caught Bly from the rear and stripped the ball from him. Wasn't surprising given White easily outran Bly on another reception for a TD. So how did Bly figure White wouldn't catch him with almost the entire field to run after Bly's int? Just stupidity on Bly's part.

Uh...I quoted the ESPN story, and even provided the link. They said that Ryan caught Bly and caused the fumble.

No, I can't watch the video and no, I didn't watch the game. They had no 4 PM games on Fox here yesterday. :(

Maybe Bly should have gotten the TD before showboating? That might have helped his case a bit. But he didn't, so he's just an arrogant idiot.
