So - and I'm assuming you live in a normal detached single family home - "people walking dogs privately" walk up the driveway, across your front lawn, to let their dog pee on the garage door and poop on the front doorstep?

You must be a diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick.

Damn it Jules - you owe me a new garage door.

To others - have your dogs defecate and urinate on your own tuffs, since it's "nature" and you don't seem to mind it too much.

Nah...fuck that. I'd rather let them crap in YOUR yard...and piss on (and kill) your bushes.

I'm entitled...I shouldn't have to clean up after my own dogs...that's what youse pee-ons are for. :p

Yup, I'm a dick, but not because I don't enjoy the fresh and aromatic dog urine scent every morning, mixed with the o-so-lovely feces arrangement provided by the neighborhood's yuppies.

Sounds like you misidentified the source of your complaint. You are actually complaining about people who do not pick up after their dog and exaggerating the impact of urine.

Unless EVERYONE'S dog is urinating in your yard, you aren't going to have a problem with the urine smell. City sidewalks are different but the homeless are just as much to blame for that.

Well Kiba needs to poop somewhere since he refuses to poop in his own yard.
He has decided that your yard is suitable for his needs.

I walk my dogs all the time. They are not allowed to poop or pee while on a walk(we do not stop moving and they are not allowed to stop and sniff the grass). We are walking for exercise. They can pee and poop in our yard.

You sir. The world needs more of your kind.

You're lucky you're a 21st century (sub)urban dweller and not a farmer or hunter/gatherer. Then this disgusting thing you speak of called nature would have been everywhere.

I live in NYC and most people in the city don't have yards where their dogs can "go". Would be possible to train one's dog to only take dumps and pee in a specific spot, for example directly onto a newspaper next to a trashcan outside your building?

I don't have any pets, just wondering about this though.

My dog uses the beach for his toilet. So no worries about your door. Just don't forget your slippahs when you head for the shore.

I have 3, the youngest 2 , I tell to go in the woods, paths, and I tell them they are good dogs when they do this. I carry around bags to pick up from yards, and they know my displeasure in doing that. Yes, they are smart enough to catch on, LOL.

Those look disturbingly like dogs. :)

You need to pee on your garage door so they know it's yours.

Uh oh too late. It's Jules' door now. Get a new door and pee on it.

No, no! He can still try peeing higher up on the door then Jules was able to. I recomend a ladder to try to head off the impending pee escalation.
