Dear AOL,

Today I received 2, yes two, of your cdroms tempting me to sign up with your service with promises of free internet access for extended periods of time. I would like to take this second to thankfully decline your invitation. I will have you know that I did open both of the discs, neither one even came close to my computer, however I do have a suggestion that can change that...

My suggestion, should you feel the need to take it, is to put your wares on CDRW discs, thus increasing your mail -> computer ratio. I long for the days where I would run out to my mailbox hoping to find a mailer from you, so that I could use your 3 1/2" disk for whatever served my purpose. In fact, I would like to thank you for all the 3 1/2 disks that you have sent me. Just for your information, your disks have been used as driver disks, NT Repair disks, file transportation, and even a LINUX FIREWALL!!! :)

When you made the switch from 3 1/2" floppies to cdroms, I did make a clock out of one of the discs, however I have no idea where it is anymore, I probably burnt it because I was sick of looking at another AOL cdrom.

Here is my plan, instead of sending multiple cdroms to people who did not request it how about you only send one disc to these people every month or so, but instead of cdroms you send cdrws. Your costs may increase slightly, however the ratio of mailbox to computer will increase dramatically..

Thank you

The first letters of the words in your subtitle spell "AOL".

Coincidence? I think not!

No no no, AOL needs to start sending their software out on flash drives. They should also bloat their software more so they have to send out 1 GB sized flash drives. Preferably USB 2.0.

With words like debian and Red Hat written on them!
