Dean is a pawn for special intrests, just as much as any other politician.

Pretty much any politician is going to become ensnared in the special interest trap. Buying influence won't go away any time soon - unfortunately.

While I support Dean, the guy needs to know when to keep his mouth shut >: (

Considering he said this ~ 4 years ago, it's more of a case of people digging up old crap on Dean. It's to be expected I suppose.

4 years ago?!?! I take back my previous comment!! The fact that this is posted here shows how desperate the neocons are getting.

Buahahaha - NBC is a tool of the neo-con conspiracy now?:p Buahahaha

...must stop laughing...I just ate lunch.

NBC is going to say whatever it wants to get its ratings, just as Fox news wraps itself in flags to grab certain segments of viewers. The fact that you and Galt don't realize that this news is BS is what surprises me.

OK, sure - whatever you say:p
If you really don't think what people have said in the past matters if they are trying to become President, then I think you should only be suprised by yourself - however, I'm not suprised by you or the argument.:)

Well, if the candidates only took small donations from lots of individuals rather than large donations from corporations or industry it might actually keep them from being beholden to special interests. I'm not saying any candidate or incumbant is necessarily doing this, just that in theory it would work.

Whoa there buddy. We may let Cad out from time to time, but he doesn't represent us. He's good entertainment, but he speaks only for the voices in his head. (We think it's one of those "tooth filling becomes a crystal radio" stories, but the darn thing is stuck on the Rush & Friends station.)

Wow - another ad hom from Bow? Say it ain't so Joe..:(

But yeah - I don't represent Iowa - especially when it's basically just the Democrats who are caucusing. I certainly don't represent them...so I defer to Bowfinger to represent the "extremist special interests" :p
