hi all,

i'm looking a this item here, SMARTDISK USB FLASH MEMORY READER UNIVERSAL, which is a reader for compact flash, smart media, as well as memory sticks. different places i have seen, have it at least $40 and up. this place has it at about $28.

has anyone dealt with thenerds.net? are they just one of the many shady dealers out there or they actually can be trusted like amazon.com or buy.com?

all leads and suggestions are appreciated. thank you in advance. :)

Reseller rating and user comments, it looks like they low ball the price then stick you on S&H. Also they apparently had their server hacked, not very encouraging in my mind either. It would also seem they don't promptly process your order or enter new tracking info into the system so that you know where your package is.

BTW, I'm not certain if it's exactly what you are after but Newegg has the Mr. Flash 7 in 1 USB Reader - Travel Flash for 36$ shipped FED EX saver.

seems like DAPUNISHER has got you covered, but I'd suggest the "Hot Deals" forum in the future when asking about how a retailer or deal is.

just from reading the first couple reviews, I wouldn't deal with them
