Here's the situation:

I'm haggling with a dealer for a used 2013 Hyundai Genesis coupe. He said he can't go any lower than 24,995 and is already at a loss (they told me they bought it for 25,800..Could be a lie..).

They are trying to get me to buy it now in 2013.. But I am thinking of waiting until 2014 to buy it. However, they said they won't reduce the price any further because they are already taking a loss. If anything they said my trade will be worth less because that's a year older, too.

It's winter up here and I really doubt anybody is going to spring 24k on a RWD sport coupe. they are pressuring me to buy it now, but I feel like I should hold out. I doubt the car will be sold out from under me. They want a $200 deposit and said they can hold the car until Friday. What should I do?

Go in and look at it again, don't sit down and negotiate. Tell them your best offer on the out the door price, they will say no. Give them your phone number and tell them to call you if they change their mind. They will call on Friday.

I ordered a mobile mechanic to go look at the car. They called the dealer and said they would be there on Thursday. The plan is to go back if the inspection comes up good and offer $21 OTD. Now I've got to work on ordering a new set of wheels and tires for winter from tirerack.com if all goes well. Cant decide between Dunlop winter Maxx or Blizzaks...
