Deals from meritline

meritline used to be good, but over recent months they've been vending bad ritek media and have poor customer support to boot. they lost me as a customer for dvd-rs. nowadays i just jump on bb deals for fuji (taiyo-yuden) or verbatim (mcc) disks. i might pay like 10-20 cents more a disk, but the quality is on a whole new level.

I've never bought blank DVDs online, so I cannot comment on this vendor. I did notice that deals on good blank DVDs at B&M retailers have become more frequent over the last couple of month (usually at ~$0.40/DVD). However, it has become harder (but not impossible) to find Japanese-made media locally.

Some brands that I have gotten recently include Sony, TDK and Fuji. I look for "Made in Japan" spindles which are always end up being TYs for me. Some TDK 4x +R Taiwan-made media I recently bought was Ricoh media and burned at 6x on my stock ND-2510.

100 DVD cases for $25 shipped. But you can get them for $27 at Shop4tech, and they sound like a better vendor who desvers support.
