Dealing with the Helicopter in Freeman Pontifex

Well I'm stuck in HL2:EP2 "Freeman Pontifex" - I'm at the farm house/barn and can't seem to avoid getting Alex and myself mowed down by the helicopter. Any suggestions? Thanks.

pick up the bombs with gravity gun and hurl them at the heli, takes a few to get rid of it

I can't seem to find any bombs. Where are they located? Thanks!

maybe I'm confused as to where you are at, mind describing what you just finished so I can know better?

After I asked where the bombs where, I remembered the clip Valve released a while ago where the helicopter droped the bombs. Thanks.

This had me stuck too for a minute. I was shooting at the copter and nothing. I eventually figured it out within few minutes.
