I recently got a new MtechII front bumper for my BMW 325i (02).

I called my local dealership before I got it to get an estimate, and they figured that it would take about 1 to 1.5 hours for the install.

I called today to get my appt. ready, and the SAME guy is now saying that it is at least 3 hours, and most likely a 4 hour job. He says he's looking at the computer and thats what it says, and that anything shorter would be a miracle.

I have an actual BMW service manual which says that replacing BOTH bumpers and BOTH skirts takes 3.0 hours TOTAL.

Is this guy trying to screw me? Anyone have any advice?

And no, I can't do it myself

Didn't you answer your own question right here?

MTECHII, is this an aftermarket fiberglass bumper? If that's so, then 4 hours is about right since the bumper will have to be modified/fitted because it's not a OEM BMW part and wont be a simple bolt on procedure.
