So I just dropped the Altima off for its 15,000 mile (gulp) synthetic oil change.

I work less than a mile from the dealership, so I usually just walk, but it's raining, so I took advantage of the free shuttle and they dropped me off right at my building. I was getting out and it occurred to me - do I tip these guys?

<clueless>

I probably wouldnt. but it might be a good idea too.

I dont know. I dont think I've ever looked at a shuttle driver like that before. haha ;) Its not like they're a limo driver.

I voted no, just because thats the first thing that came to my mind. Feel free to change my mind though :)

You are already paying 50% more for the oil change than you'd pay at any other location in town. Where does that money go? Yep to that nice person in the white lab coat driving you around. I see no reason to pay him twice. It isn't like he/she is a half-minimum wage waiter/waitress. (Or even worse, a minimum wage host/hostess that does 90% of the waiter/waitress's job but gets very few tips).

I might if it was a really long distance or they did something extra. But that's about it.

for me at least I go to the dealership only when they have some special, like oil & tire rotation and fluids for like $20 which is pretty cheap. but I agree that I would not tip the dropoff driver.
