Dealership made a rip in the seat

I went to the dealership this morning for a tranny flush, and this is what resulted of the drivers seat :

seat rip

seat rip

I showed them, they didnt have time to work on it because they were closing, but I'm going back on Monday to have them fix it. The seat was just fine before I gave the car to them.

Cool deal, in that they'll probably end up having to give you a new driver's seat. I don't see how they're going to fix that without at least reupholstering the seat.

make sure they don't just fix it but give you some kind of compensation for making you waste time driving back there and spending more time/gas than you needed.

I wouldn't have taken the car back until it was fixed. Their story could easily change by Monday.

Yeah, I didnt see it at first, only when I got out of the car when I stopped for lunch later.
