Dealer Invoice Pricing?

In the market for a new lease, wondering if there is a go-to source for accurate dealer cost/invoice pricing? Or is that a myth?

I'm commenting, but don't have any experience with leasing.

I've seen deals posted on deal websites regarding promotions. Typically, I read through posts to attempt to get an idea of what a good lease deal is. Personally, I keep my cars for 10+ years, so leasing doesn't ever work out in my favor. I put 12k miles on my vehicles annually and just don't drive fancy enough cars to require a lease to mitigate risk. (The only reason I could imagine doing so)

Check some of the deal websites out there and see if they have car sections you can search for recent posts. The last one I saw on the site I frequent is from November about Buick and suggests using Costco to get a rebate and Autotrader.com to locate new dealer inventory. I'm sure there may be other sales on the horizon as the year chugs on.

Edmunds is actually pretty accurate last I looked. Depending on brand there's also holdbacks another money that you can dip into.

Remember, it's all separate negotiations technically; sell price, money factor, etc.

Yes, indeed, everything is negotiable and everything is a pain in the ass. Hehe
Been going back and forth with multiple dealerships today via email and phone. They prefer to draw the buyer's attention to one thing: monthly payment. When I ask for a detailed breakdown they seem taken back. One dealership tried to bury a $799 "dealer service fee" in the deal. The process goes on, and it's exhausting.
