Just got an '05 Chevy & the dealer sticker is a thin clear film type that is very well attached, any tips?

This should be easy to remove.
First heat the decal with a hair dryer or heat gun (on low) and peel back one corner of the decal. As the decal starts to release pull gently on the corner until it totally releases. Clean up any residue with Goo-Gone. Works like a charm.
I did this on both my Nissan truck and my wife's Civic.
You can probably do it without scratching it, but there will probably permanently be some marks in the paint....if nothing else, the paint underneath the sticker won't have faded like the paint exposed to the sun.Originally posted by: SarcasticDwarf
Any chance this could be done on a 98 without leaving any marks (with the sticker put on at the time of sale in 98)?

That happened with our fj cruiser...I found out that peanut butter gets off that kind of stuff very quickly. It might sound crazy but work amazingly well
How in the world did someone ever figure that out? I mean, who would have thought to put peanut butter on a decal?Originally posted by: cr2250
