In case you haven't been on the deal sites lately.
St is doing a promo where if you buy a SIM and monthly plan for $46 they will give you $20 off = $26
You can order 5 max per order, but can do multiple orders.
You can do whatever you want with the SIM, you don't have to use it. The refill cards are not linked to the SIMs and you can use the refills on your existing account. So you can have a year of service for $26x12 = $312 + tax
Some of the deal sites are doing cashback % on straighttalk.com so you could save a little more.

They have att and t-mobile sims (I think they recently started allowing verizon lte? but it is capped at 5/1, the att and t-mobile service is uncapped)

Thanks. I was considering switching to the $30 TMobile plan, but I'll grab five of these instead and keep the plan a bit longer, I think.

Edit: $140.67 for five from TX (including tax), so $28.13 per month - the auto-refill I've been doing is $50.38 with taxes + fees, so definitely a good deal.

There's a thread for this on FatWallet, I read there that there's probably a 12 month expiration for the cards, but that's fine with me since I don't want to buy a whole year's worth right now anyway.

It would work but not with AWS, I think. It may drop to 2G or miss calls at times, etc.

Edit: I was talking about T-Mo SIM, obv.

Thanks OP, just picked up five. I'm on Cricket right now waiting to satisfy my 4 month requirement to unlock a Lumia 1320 - then back to Straight Talk.
