It's now $119 :-( They have a 6x kit for $92 now, see the other thread:

Compgeeks (http://www.compgeeks.com/cgi-bin/details.asp?cat=MultiMedia&sku=205-8405CK) has a Creative 8x/40x DVD-ROM drive with the CT7160 (prior to Dxr2) inlay board for $90 + s/h (10% off if you know where to find it ;)).

I have this inlay card and it's more than suitable for watching movies (no noticable jerkiness or pixelization). It has 5.1 Dolby Digital SPDIF output, and RCA TV-out (and I think S-Video but I can't remember).

Edit: Shipping is $6.00 for me (CA to SC).

Note that the inlay card has limited compatibility with graphics
cards...I decided against this deal on that factor.

But if you don't plan on changing your graphics board, and your
graphics board is compatible, this is a decent deal!

Just to add to the Videocard list:
Although it states that it won't work with TNT cards - it does work exelent with my Creative TNT on the Athlon Motherboard. Not sure about TNT2 or later, though

The decoder card will only work with older version of creative cards. I have one working with Creative Graphic Blaster and it works well, but will not work with other cards properly. Still a good value for the drive.

Works with my Creative TNT2 Ultra, also worked with my old Guillemot GeForce DDR-DVI (yup, went back to TNT2U for driver reasons :p).

HELP!, with a inlay decoder card do you have to connect the internal cable from the decoder to video card.
