Seeing as how he tried to kill a child, murdered an innocent New yorker, set bounties on indians, beat trixie repeatedly, treats his whores like sh!t, had trixie spy on the widow, tried to scam the widow, treats woo like sh!t, is scamming yankton, is undercutting the commissioner, is killing all the chinese, and has an indian head in a box next to him on his porch that he talks to?

somehow seeing him all torn up due to the kidney stone made all that other stuff go away..


They really did a great job with character development. At the end of the second season, despite all the crazy stuff that happened, one is left with a sense of pride for Deadwood, as they now have a future...
