DeadLifts suck .............:(

I've been doing Benches and Squats for 2 months after a long layoff. I thought I was in good enough shape to add in deadlifting as well, the workout went well but the next day I could hardly move my back I was so sore it was like lifting weights for the first time.

It's been two days and I'm still sore!

The Bench and Squat don't make me sore at all anymore.

It's not uncommon to feel sore when you work an under developed area for the first few times. Give it 2 weeks or so, and you'll only be sore for a day or 2 at most. Also, it's not good that you dont feel sore from bench and squats anymore... it means you arent growing. Try moving up, or concentrating on the correct motion more. Isolate your quads on squats, dont let your knees go past your toes, and try to get your quads parallel to the floor. On bench, just go down all the way on barbell and touch your chest, and break the horizontal plane on dumbbell.

Just don't end up like that one guy on Rotten Dot Com... (no link, as the mods here are anal about such things)

Actually it's my traps and lats that seem to have gotten the worst of it, my lower back was in ok shape from doing squats.
