I noticed you used no rope or chalk. Did you do anything specific to get your grip strength to that level?

Right now, my grip is my weakest point in my deadlift.

And kick ass deadlifts!

thanks a lot! i used to use those straps, with straps i was stuck at 495 for a long time, i then decided months ago i wnated to build my grip work, forearm strength, and i just thought to myself to not use equipment on my lifts. i trained back day without straps for one thing. did lots of weighted pull ups. for forearms i did do specific training, id go to a smith machine, set the bar alittle above my knee level, id grab the squat pad that people use for their necks, wrap that around the center of the bar, and turn the exercise into a grip work, id load up the bar with weights and just grip it as hard as a i can and lift it up, it burns but it is good!

That guy in the background doing some sort of tricep extension with a 35lb plate is putting your 515lb deadlift to shame. :colbert:
