Deadliest Catch starts tommorow on Discovery.

Can't wait. For some reason even though they've been showing this for a few years now, I haven't gotten bored of it. Makes me amazed looking at some of the jumbo king crab.
On a separate note, I wish I could have some fresh king crab legs with garlic and butter on my plate but they're just so expensive.

a few years ago, i found this show pretty interesting. then, discovery proceeded to run it into the ground with countless marathons or 4 episodes per day. do we really need all-day marathons on easter and mother's day and [multiple random holidays]???

now, i don't watch it so much. i did catch the coughing up blood one the other day, though.

I think what makes the show good as an ongoing series is the fact that they didn't over dramatize everything like some other shows (*cough*lobstermen*cough*)

It turned out he had a blood clot. IIRC it actually broke loose and passed thru his heart and nearly killed him.

I will admit the show is not as exciting as when it was derby fishing.

I gave up on it at the start of the 3rd season. The first season was brilliant TV, interesting, informative. The 2nd became a soap opera among guys who became famous for no reason. The 3rd was more of the same and I bailed.

I know! The show is so interesting...I love mike Rowe as commenter/narrator too.

I have my sling online dealio hooked up to my new HD DVR ViP 722 that was installed last weekend! I can't wait...HD crabs! haha

I love the show. Be interesting to see what happened to Phil. So now I've got House/Scrubs on Monday (or is Scrubs Wednesday?), Deadliest Catch on Tuesday, and LOST on Wednesday!
