from comments said:
When I fished for King Crab years ago in Kodiak, a Newport fisherman held up one of the banks in Kodiak with a taxi as his escape vehicle. Real brilliant move as there is no where to escape on Kodiak except the airport which was quickly surrounded. Everyone called him "bank robber John" after that with our tongues in our cheeks.

Saw this on the article comments.
