I hate how its so incompatible with so many versions of AIM. There are issues, and we're still stuck at 4.5. Worse, he charges an exorbitant $5 for it. Maybe he should've made it donations. We can't use it on Triton (and sure I don't think Triton is great, and I don't even use it, but who cares? at least make it freaking compatible). If we pay for such software, I expect some support and some continued dedication to improve the product I paid for.
 
It's a good piece of software, but I wish they would do a better job updating and stuff.

I'm on 5.5 and Deadaim 4.5.... But just reading about all the incompatibilities with 5.9 and Triton makes me go 😕 It's been a while since 5.9 has been out... why not make Deadaim compatible... Especially when you charge people money.
 
I just don't upgrade AIM - What the heck is the point - the 'chatting' doesnt get enhanced
so old DeadAIM works perfectly fine
 
I'm satisfied with DeadAim 4.5 and AIM 5.5. AIM Triton blows with all the crap it installs (for example: WTF is aol explorer?)

Trillian is alright, but I would always find it very annoying with how you can't view people's AIM profiles properly (no links or formatting).

i thought there was an add-in for trillian that would make it render correctly?

Yep. I'm still on AIM 4.8 and DeadAIM 3.2.1.

To get that you have to upgrade to Trillain Pro, and there was no way I'd pay $25 for that program.
