hmm are you trying to be sark?

Anyway, I posted once but the server somehow lagged and posted it twice. Not intentional to post and take up extra space. Gonna delete other post.

For real, do you think this is a good deal?

hmm the battery that I am talking about is 800mAH and not 640mAh. It is so much more powerful then the one the you posted but ok lets go in to some serious saving.

Doing some math for you guys.

2 800mAh @ sterlingtek shipped = 24.99+24.99+5.99 = 55.97

Price per mAH = 0.03498125 dollars per mAH

2 640mAH @ XXXXX shipped =41.71

Price per mAH = 0.0325859375

So answer is the XXXXX is cheaper, if you buy 2 or 4.

Anyway the thing is that Sterlingtek have a flat shipping rate therefore if you buy from them you can also throw in a couple more of other stuff and save on shipping alittle.

Thanks for your contribution. My bad, but if you like to carry less battery in terms of grams then the sterlingtek might be a doable deal in anycase is better then other retailers.

i don't mean to thread crap, but i've found that these generic replacements are pretty low quality. i got one of sterlingtek's nb-1l batteries for my s100 and it only lasted about 20 minutes between charges. i had it replaced , but the new one only lasted around 40 minutes. the low battery indicator comes on soon after turning the camera on. i realize these aren't very scientific statistics, but the real canons do seem to last a lot longer. i'd pay the extra few bucks for the canon ones. my 2 cents.

Thanks for the advice. I will return it. And also remove this deal and let it die.
