The tweet was pulled. Sale does not appear to be happening. Sorry.

50% off Battlefield 3, Batman: Arkham City, Need for Speed: the Run, 12/23 @ Origin

twitter.com/origin_EA: "Hungry for some delicious deals? Satisfy your sales appetite this Friday with 50% off @Battlefield 3, @NeedforSpeed The Run, and Batman: AC."

now if they only do the Karkand expansion at 50%... :hmm:

That would be nice, but I don't recall the expansions ever going on sale, well, they finally gave away the BF2 ones as part of the final patch.

Still, @ $29.00 it makes the $14.99 expansion easier to accept.

Thanks Gully!

I'm not seeing the 50% off.

Here's a quick guide on how to see it now (this assumes you have a Delorean time machine):

1. Just get in your Delorean and set the date to 12/23/2012.
2. Drive until you hit 88MPH.
3. Log into Origin.
4. Profit.

Me either, however if you follow the OP twitter link posting you see the statement:

"Hungry for some delicious deals? Satisfy your sales appetite this Friday with 50% off @Battlefield 3, @NeedforSpeed The Run, and Batman: AC."

May be BS, maybe not. I'm in the market for BF3 so come Friday we shall see.

I already have this - too bad you can't gift it... like to your friend's e-mail...I think if EA allowed this they would get more Orgin users - but noooo, their hindsite is making them lose potential future origin users and holiday sales...🙄

Is a Delorean required? Or will a hot tub do?
