EDIT: Gave up... Bought one online

I burned my mobo and I need a new one. TODAY.

Anyone know a good shop in Manhattan that carries real mobos with decent prices? I mean I want to go in, whip out my maxed out CC cuz i got no cash, and walk out with something decent. not no goddamn P4P or Intel made garbage.

Please answer quick, if this thread goes past today, I will not care anymore... 🙂 By then I will have either burned or break the rest of my pc parts, or bought something online.

My car is also f-ckin dead, so anything near the 4,5,6,b,d lines is preferable.

RCS on 56th and Madison is having a big clearance sale, but I don't know if they have motherboards. I think Datavision on 5th ave and 40th? has mobos in the basement.

LOL, I used to work in compusa right across the street from datavision. All they have is Intel based mobos, and Chips and techs around the corner is overcharging up the wazoo. I'm giving RCS a call right now. Theres also WL computers on 37th st, but they have nothing as well.

EDIT: RCS claims they dont sell mobos. lol

There's this store on 14th bet. 7th and 8th (or was it 6th and 7th?) They have a lot of different boards and parts in general but they aren't cheap. Also cheap computer stores pop up all over the place in Chinatown but that whole area is fvckin filthy as hell and usually keeps me out unless I wear boots and my dirty clothes.

14th and 8th = Flannerys bar. Great place. I am checkin the yellow pages and everything. Man I know these places exist but damn hard to find. Im sure someone in Canal ST./Chinatown has stuff. Grr, even google aint helping.

maybe, but that area is awful hard to navigate on foot. I used to be a cable guy for Time Warner, there is almost no street in Manhattan that I can't imagine passing by. I am coming from the Bronx, so I don't want to run into a wild goose chase.
