Radeon 9600 Pro, they rock.

Oh, and if you buy a GeForce FX 5200, I will be forced to track you down and annihilate you for purchasing possibly the worst POS graphics card of all time. :disgust:

any radeon. nvidia has tapped out for this round
I admit to not being a huge follower of video cards, but my Ti4200 is great for what I do. Mostly business, I admit, but also some "light to mid" gameing. And I know there is much constertaion about the current video cards from nVidida, but is the Ti4200 really "this round"? Seems to me this is a round or two back...

Will these cards still give good framerates @ 1280x1024? I'm interested in this too, but I'd be hooking it up to a 17" LCD; I'll have to keep it at this res unless I want a blury mess.

9600 pro 🙂

if you want to game at 1280 x 1024 i'd recommend a 9800 non pro and then do the bios flash and make it a 9800 pro. that's what i did

Under $50 would be Radeon 9100. Under $100 would be TI-4200 like others said. It all depends on how fast you want your card to be. Toms Hardware has this huge VGA chart if you need some performance reference.
