Here are my current specs :

Intel DP35DP Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 CPU
4Gb Patriot 800Mhz DDR2 (4 DIMMS)
1 x 74Gb Raptor
2 x 320Gb Seagate HD's
2 x Pioneer DVD Writer
ATI Radeon x1550 Video Card
Soundblaster Audigy 2

I've got all this in an Antec Sonata 2 case, using the default 450W PSU.

I am currently only running the hsf,and one exhaust fan.

I am going to upgrade my cpu to a intel quad q6600 and my video card to a Geforce 8800GT 512Mb.

The 450W psu is not going to be enough, does anybody have any suggestions on what to get to replace it ? (Don't want to spend a fortune, about to spend $500+ on the cpu & vid card)

nevermind, got myself a cooler master 650w psu from zipzoomfly for $45 AR

Well not the one I'd get since it's a Tier 4 PSU, which is just above the "Not recommended" level on the jonnyguru site. But I'm sure it should work. I would've got the corsair vx450w PSU for $49 after MIR and google checkout. Read the review anand had on this PSU.
PSU - $69 shipped - $10 MIR = $59! Google checkout = $49!! Can run a single 8800gtx system easily.

There are better PSU's then the coolermaster 650w, got one myself, replaced the fan since it was way to loud. It's a seventeam OEM though, so it's not as bad as you think it is.
