Newegg on Ebay

Looks like there are less than 300 left, so if you want one, better bite soon. I grabbed one to see what the quality of Zotac is like. Never owned one.

"Zotac is a subsidiary of PC Partner, the company that is also behind Sapphire"

We allow ebay links now?
That is a fair question.

I always interpreted the rule to be very specific about auctions not being hot deals. Bidding and small quantities are not something all of us can get a deal on either.

However, as an example, linking to a Newegg or Best Buy deal on ebay is not the same thing. These are e-tailers, that offer large quantities of the products. And are not auctioning, but selling at a fixed price we can rely on. that allows all of us an opportunity to get the deal until it is dead. That makes it a confirmed deal.

Furthermore, this deal is only on their ebay storefront, not their website as far as I can tell. Link it there, and I will happily redirect to it.

If the admins decide this violates the rule, it will get removed. Believe me, we are all bound by the rules, right up to our benevolent overlords. :D

This isn't an auction, so I don't think the eBay rule would apply... you don't have to "bid", you just have to "Buy it Now". Pretty big difference there, IMO.

Less than 50 cards left, this deal will be dead soon.

I was also really tempted by this deal, but I really don't have the cash for it this month. Plus, it's probably overkill to put this with my Core I5 760.

Did anyone here get one? They sold a ton of them quick.

With a 780Ti in your sig you didn't really need the card anyway. :p

I was thinking about putting it in my Mac Pro, and my uncle's b-day is coming up. If the price is right I buy now, find a use later! But the $40 tax was enough to kill the deal.

I grabbed one. I will let you know my impression of Zotac if you like. It is one of the smaller 970s, and the cooler is ugly. But the boost clock is ok, so is the bundle. I read they give a better warranty if you register quickly too.

Games that are CPU limited will be that way even if you pair a lower card. Games that are not, will look better and play better, with that extra eyecandy. And you can perhaps survive a CPU+board upgrade with the same card that way.
