Because you don't want the truth, you simply want support for Bush and his war!!! Well, the US people (who are dropping support like hell for this lie of a war) now get to see the whole story, and it's pretty fvcking ugly!!! :|

Powell said in his office after the speech: " I wonder how everyone will feel if we place 1/2 million troops in Iraq and march from one end of the country to the other and find nothing?"

WOW...just WOW!!!

It's a shame . . . you missed this gem . . .

According to Powell's chief of staff, after Powell gave his UN speech . . . he said, "I wonder what it will feel like if we put 500k troops in Iraq, march from one end to the other, and find nothing."

Damn . . . he's good.

Damn, Enginner types faster.

It's almost immediately to David Kay that the stockpiles of WMD aren't there. Kay warns Tenet that the evidence is "falling apart".

All lies.

Wow . . . "when things go bad, you gotta have a dog to kick . . . and that's the CIA."

Bay of Pigs (Eisenhower then JFK)
Vietnam Assassination Squads (LBJ)
Overthrow elected leader of Chile (Nixon)
Iran Contra (Reagan)

Bush War 2003 . . . CIA?

As evidenced by this guy and many other in here they still support Bush and the Republican lies. Unless this changes the Country is doomed.

That is what Powell told his chief of staff after the UN speech that he gave to get support for starting a war on WMD's and Nuclear program of Iraq.

Someone alluded to Eisenhower and Vietnam. The CIA didn't decide to invade Cuba...

The CIA didn't decide to invade Iraq...

was this show about Bush's failures in Iraq?

hasn't this topic been covered night and day on this forum?

oh as for me not caring for the truth, what truth are you speaking of? i was not for the Iraq war, if thats what you're implieing. i am for us staying there and slowly start pulling out.

our intelligence failed us and our leaders took us to war. it was a mistake, a huge one. but i see no point in pulling out at this very moment.

and yes, I'd rather watch something on the History Channel or something else than this.

we've known for a couple of years about the failures of this war.

we removed Iran's enemy of the west after removing its enemy to the east (Afghanistan).

remember, most of the terrorist attacks in Iraq are planned and coordinated by Iran. Sadr is a puppet of Iran. Iran is supporting the sunni terrorists as well, the ones who are bombing the civilians. it is also supporting the shia terrorists, which are aiming for US soldiers

forget about not finding WMD's for a second, just think how terrible our post-war strategy has been. instead of tackling the issue of Iranian involvement in Iraq, we're just letting our brave soldiers get murdered.

DmCowen, wow man you are so predictable. According to you ... Republicans = always bad. you are a party sheep. you can't help yourself

as for me being a Republican ... i'm no more a Republican than I am a Democrat (which I was, but the party left me)

The show is about the run up to the Iraq invasion. If the truth bashes Bush that's his problem.

Ignorance is bliss.

Yes, you should know.

Notice the title is "Dead Wrong: Inside an Intelligence Meltdown" and NOT "Big Lie: Inside an Evil Administration."

While you Bush-hating fanatics practically spooge all over yourselves in sanctimonious ferver while watching this, keep in mind that if there was any REAL, HARD, and CREDIBLE evidence that Bush actually, knowingly LIED, there'd be about a dozen impeachment hearings going as we speak.

Spin Spin Spin and eventually YOUR lies might convert a few more dullards. After all, that's all this is: a political fistfight, f*ck the truth....

So Raildogg, are we ready for a pre-emptive strike against Iran now?

Maybe Bush can fabricate some bullsh!t excuses for that too.

Ah, so the books were cooked and not one single administration official should be held accountable? You call yourself a non supporter, but you're almost a poster boy for this administration.

Ah, the truth hurts doesn't it? :cookie: for the troll prize post of the evening. At least Raildogg made a few points. Hard to do an impeachment when surrounded by party fanboys running the rest of the government.

Maybe, if we get lucky, the American people will impeach the party in 2006!

I'm sure the truth hurts- you that is. Ah yes... the all-powerful Repubs run everything and have this government (and the people) locked down  There can be no impeachments, those EVAL Reps won't allow it!!

LOL, you clowns oughta take your circus somewhere else.

so we rushed to war with Iraq, should we have waited for the UN or the weapons inspectors to give us the go ahead? i think we should not have gone to war in the first place.

yes, our intelligence failed us and so did our leaders. i thought that invading Iraq would open a whole another set of problems for us, and it did. Iran is and was our main problem. we need to come up with a strategy to get rid of the regime there without violence. remember, China is also pulling the strings on Iran. all our enemies are connected, they share intelligence and their main goal is to harm USA

the Iranians love us and need our help in their fight against the mullahs.

And you're proud of this?

We'd take our circus to Iraq but Bush's is already playing there.
