Does this come with 30 days of play? I only have WOW and was thinking of getting the 2 expansions. If this came with 30 days of play like my original copy of WOW then this would be a fairly cheap way to upgrade to the burning crusade expansion.

The 30 days for new copies of wow are tied to the creation of a new account. So this would only work if you wanted to nix your former account and create a new one. Otherwise you would just be buying a copy of BC.

So, you can't do the 10 Day Free Trial and then continue using the Key from WoW Battlechest?

From what I read on the WoW forums yes you can. Once you buy the CD and enter the key into your account it adds 30 days.

Last I checked you don't want to do that. You have some severe in game limitations during the 10 day trial like unable to trade, join guild, or level past 60.

Unless they changed it since I started, the 10 day trial was just as good as having a real account (minus the lack of the other 20 or so days).

yes thats what i did.

here is the best way to make use of your time and leveling.

I did a 10 day trial account and got 2 characters up to 20th lvl, there are limitiations and skill limitations, but its not a huge problem when you are only Lvl 20 or less.

make sure you log out with both charecters in a rest area/ Inn/ major city.

leave your account off for like 2 weeks, take a break.

then Buy the original game or Battle chest.

Activate it and you will have 30 more days and you will get double experience for quite a long time, for me it was about 2 weeks.

Then after the 40 days is up take another break, rest both charecters in INNS/major city for 2 weeks, then get the 10 day trial of Burning crusade, you can play that for prety much the whole 10 days at double experience and probably make it to the 60's in LVL.

then add your BC code if you have one, then you will have to start paying monthly each month you play.

you can also take another 3 month break, and then have a friend with active accoutn send you a resurection scroll, which will get you 10 more free days, and then when you pay for 30 days on you account as long it is less than 30 days from date of the ressurection scroll he will get 30 free days on his account.

This is how i got 2 characters 1 to lvl70 and 1 to lvl 63 for the cost of $10.00 for original wow on sale at Circuit city, $20.00 for Burning Cruesade at Walmart and 1 month paid Subscription of $15.00, and my friend got a month free on his account a free Zehra mount for him too.

thats 80 days for me and 30 for a friend for $45.00.

They did change it they have put more limitations on trial accounts, but still for free for 10 days it worth it.

used to be 14 days.

by the way the BattleChest was $14.99 at Circuit City this past black Friday weekend, that was a hot deal for first timers or new accounts, even cheaper then the deal i got.
