I'll try and get in on this deal, I wanted to get in on the 60GB last week but it was dead before it even started. I didn't want to put in the effort of calling and having to do all the other bullshit to make it work. We'll see how it goes this weekend....

Well, two weeks in a row I've done HDD deals and two weeks in a row they are B/O. Received a call from CS this morning comfirming my order and I asked if there is a chance I will receive either drive. "Of, course!" I hope AT'ers got all ten of the drives that were available. I ordered at 12:01 AM PST. They probably sold out at 12:00:50 AM PST. Next time I will order earlier.

Lastly, WD sells millions of drives per month and manufacturing not at capacity. OM can receive drives anytime. OOS means not ordered.

I ordered mine 12:54 AM Sunday and got it Tues. I'm north of Detroit and mine was shipped from there, not my local OM. I don't know if you can order when it's after midnight Eastern if you're in CA, but it might be worth a try.

get in on that staples 60GB maxtor 7200 rpm for $60 AR. The deal turned out great for me, and I managed to get them to deduct the price of the memory ($25) so it came to $35 AR for me. 🙂

I received my Western Digital 80gb yesterday (Wed.) I also received the Western Digital 60GB that was on back order fron last weeks deal on Tue. now I have to find out if I qutiify for both rebate since they are both on the same rebate form but have different offer nembers. I guess I will have to call RebateHQ.com (888-213-9919) and get their expert

opinion on this rebate form.

And on top of all of this I got a email from OfficeMax telling me the backorder Western Digital 120GB HD I order from them on Sept. 15 would be delivered today!! :disgust: two days after the WD $100 rebate had to be postmarked

what a joke, I throught they had cancelled that order a long time ago. 😕
