i don't know if its been posted? But I didn't remember seeing it, they had 100pack of imation 32x cdr's for free after rebate 39.99 19.99 ir...

I've given up on this deal for now, will try later in the week. FWIW, Circuis City has the Western Digital HD for $180 with a $100 MIR. If you have a B&M CC in your town(and probably an OM) you can do a PM and get it for $40.

Make sure you ask for the SECOND item number (2034-6127) - when I asked for whatever the first number was, I got words like "substitution", "rebates no good", etc... when I asked for the second item number, it was "oh, that works".

Also, when reviewing the order, she said "the drive is $159.99" - I asked about instant rebate - "oh, we don't have that in our system but I'll fix it".

So, after all that, I got what I expected:

120GB drive - $139.99
25pk DVD-R - $24.99
Coupon - (30.00)

SubTotal - 134.98
Tax - 8.64

Total - $143.62

Eventual Rebates = $80

Final Total: $63.62 (Hard Drive = $ 37.03, DVD-R = $ 26.59 )

I called the 1877 number listed above. Worked like a charm. I was on hold for like 20 minutes but ended up getting it with the $30 off coupon. They list it for 5/27/03 delivery. Weeee me. Added a black slim caller ID phone (FAR $10 rebate) and the $3 canned air FAR item. see cubbybilford for the phone coupon codes.

For those of you on hold, according to chubbywallet, the 8mb drives are OOS. If you still want in on the deal, have the other stock # handy. It sounds like the 2MB may be on backorder already, but OM is still letting you place an order for one according to some folks.

i just put an order in for the 8mb one less then 10 min. seems both numbers are working. i had the dead line sound and gave up, and tired the number listed on the site, got threw after about 15 mins.

total was like 129 or so, for drive and the cds

whether the drives are in stock or not depends on where you live. They check the stock levels for stores near you.

at least i think that's how it works


anywhooo i just order the 8 meg version on the phone and got through.. confirmation order number and delivery date for the 28th.

I just tried calling that number and when I asked him about the $50 off an order of $250, he said that could only be used online. When I told him that some of the items I wanted weren't showing up on the website, he told me to use the coupon, I'd need to make two orders. Order all the stuff that is online online, and then everything thing else through the store or phone, which of course doesn't get me the $50 off the hard drive.
