Dead Weightlift World Record

Wow. you can see when his nose starts bleeding. His legs were shaking before he even applied much upward pressure.

Jesus I think he did it raw too with no belt at all.

Not sure I have ever seen any weightlifting competition that ever had any competitors ever compete without a weight belt except in a few certain types of events. Raw means that it was done with a weight belt, but was also done without a deadlift suit or straps. Traditional weightlifting, whether raw or equipped, usually prohibits straps. Eddie Hall used straps in this lift, as is common in strongman deadlift.

I know that and I wasn't using the word raw correctly. Either way, I looked at the video again and it looks like he may be using a power lifting suit.

At this weight, I dare say that not using wraps is impossible. I seem to recall all the guys at the arnold classic on the rogue elephant bar using wraps.

Seems like he might of to get him from 465 kg to 500 kg. Eddie Hall often does not wear a deadlift suit at all.
