This is a really good deal. I just bought a 750gb for the same price here on the forums, but used.

Maybe surge in sales because of Fat Wallet, etc.?

I'd just put it into Buy It Later shopping cart and hope prices goes back down in time.

lol- you and moks get to the thread 4 days late and you whine about amazon?
I understand missing a deal sucks, but the REALLY good ones go fast and thats just the way it is.
I have seen stuff sell out at frys, zipzoomfly and newegg just as fast.

correct- amazon price hiking is directly correlated by demand and stock levels.
There are too other more frequented deal sites than this one and they usually get deals before this site and those people buy by ALOT really fast.
Amazon truly "slick" deals usually last about 2 hours.
I got WD Black 750s from Amazon for $59 the other day- bought 5. Price lasted about 2 hours from when it "hit".
If you dont want to miss deals, dont limit yourself to one deal forum and check them multiple times a day if you can. I go to 3 plus other deal sites (no forum) as well.
I buy for a small shop so to stay competitive I HAVE to capitalize on deals that are below distributor/wholesale pricing.
